Cody Trowell had one point to lead the xSarnia Legionnaires to a 2-1 victory over the xLondon Nationals.

xSarnia did not reach the goal total it has come to expect this season. The Legionnaires put an average of 4.3 pucks into the net per game.

xSarnia also got a goal from Nathan Mater as well. More assists for xSarnia came via Ryan Vendramin, Billy Grillo, and PJ Vandervaart, who each chipped in one.

xLondon's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on five xSarnia power plays. The Nationals' offense operated below they season average. xLondon averages 3.9 goals per game.

The Nationals were led by Keaton Ratcliffe, who scored the team's only goal. Ratcliffe scored on the power play 14:30 into the second period to make the score 1-1. A high sticking penalty on Vandervaart had put xLondon on the power play. Matt Wildman provided the assist.

Hunter Johnson recorded 22 saves for xSarnia. The Legionnaires incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors. The Nationals' Jacob Riley stopped 24 shots out of the 26 that he faced. xLondon incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
