Keli Grant had two goals to lead the Kitchener Dutchmen to a 6-3 victory over the Brantford 99ers.

Grant's tallies came at 8:47 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Kitchener and on the power play 11:04 into the second to make the score 3-1 Kitchener.

Brantford was unable to stop Kitchener from sending pucks towards the net, and the Dutchmen eventually piled up 47 shots on goal. Kitchener's goal total was higher than its season average. The Dutchmen have scored at the pace of 3.7 goals per game during the current campaign.

Kitchener also got points from Mitchell Smith, who also finished with one goal and one assist. Others who scored for Kitchener included Keegan Calder, Dylan Bursey, and Connor Cole(APM), who each put in one. Other players who recorded assists for Kitchener were Jessie Young, Kyle Ellis, Mac Nichol, Kegan Blasby, and Adam Kawelic(APM), who contributed one a piece and Brett Clampitt and Clayton Greer, who each chipped in three.

The 99ers were hit hard by penalties in the contest, and totaled nine minors and one major for 23 minutes in penalty time.

Brantford was helped by Luc Hartholt, who had one goal. Hartholt scored 6:14 into the second period to make the score 2-1 Kitchener. Mitch Camacho picked up the assist. Guy Polillo also scored for Brantford. In addition, Brantford received assists from Nathan Bastian, who had one and John Nay and Mitch Atkins, who each chipped in two.

Marc Williams made 27 saves for Kitchener on 30 shots. The Dutchmen incurred 18 minutes in penalty time with nine minors. For Kitchener, Blasby was ejected from the game. The 99ers' Andre Keire stopped 41 shots out of the 46 that he faced. Brantford registered two goals on seven power play opportunities. The 99ers ran into serious disciplinary problems during the contest, and David Storey was ejected from the game.
