The Port Colborne Pirates fell behind early, and the St. Catharines Falcons kept piling on the points on the way to a 10-1 victory. St. Catharines got the win on the strength of a great game by Greg Jambrosich, who had two goals and three assists. Jambrosich scored the first of his two goals at 9:45 into the first period to make the score 2-0 St. Catharines. Mark Rodgers provided the assist. Jambrosich's next tally made the score 8-0 St. Catharines with 13:29 left in the third period. Ryan Stayner picked up the assist.
