The Niagara Falls Canucks relied on the sparkling performance of Emerson Verrier in net to grab a 5-1 win against the Thorold Blackhawks. Niagara Falls was led by MacKenzie Wood, who racked up one goal and one assist. Wood scored 17:04 into the first period to make the score 2-1 Niagara Falls. Chris Harpur assisted on the tally.
