The Brampton Bombers' Josh Villaflor scored 3:33 into overtime to beat the Kitchener Dutchmen, 2-1 (OT). Brampton's Scott Patton was a brick wall in net, as he came up with 31 saves and let only one puck past him. Patton certainly lowered his goals against average, which was 3.31 entering the contest. The Bombers were paced by Villaflor, who registered one goal. Kitchener was unable to stop Brampton from sending pucks towards the net, and the Bombers eventually piled up 34 shots on goal. Brampton also got a goal from Reid Jackman as well. In addition, Brampton received assists from Cameron Cruickshank, Jason Smith, Owen Burry, and Phil Caputo, who contributed one a piece.
