A stellar performance between the pipes by Andrew Masters helped the St. Marys Lincolns defeat the Sarnia Legionnaires, 5-1.

St. Marys was led by Mitch Read, who finished with one goal. Read scored 16:36 into the second period to make the score 2-1 St. Marys. Ben Kirwin provided the assist.

The Lincolns excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in three chances. St. Marys bested its season scoring average. This season, the Lincolns average 2.3 goals per contest.

St. Marys additionally got points from Kirwin, who also registered one goal and one assist and Max Naus, who also tallied one goal and two assists to lead the team in points. Others who scored for St. Marys included Mike Siddall and Colin Nancekinell, who scored one goal each. More assists for St. Marys came via Nico Giannantonio, who had two and Cody Hern, Braydon Blight, and Ocean Check, who each chipped in one.
