The Lambton Shores Predators failed to take advantage of their power play opportunities and the London Nationals shook off a number of penalties to win, 4-1. London was led by Paul Hopkins, who had one goal and one assist. Hopkins scored 19:11 into the second period to make the score 2-1 London. Derek Todosichuk picked up the assist. The the Nationals penalty box was a popular destination as the team totaled 13 minors and one major for 51 minutes in penalty time. London surpassed its season average of 26.0 penalty minutes per game. London also got points from Todosichuk, who also registered one goal and one assist. Others who scored for London included Kyle L Robinson and Scott Lombardi, who scored one goal each. In addition, London received assists from Anthony Kotsvos, who had one and Austin Kemp and Chris Maton, who contributed two a piece. Lambton Shores was held back by its power play unit, which tallied one goal on nine chances. The Predators could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 54 minutes in penalties during the game. Lambton Shores was led by Matthew Kenney, who scored the team's only goal. Kenney scored on the power play 1:11 into the second period to make the score 1-0 Lambton Shores. The Predators earned a power play opportunity when Jonathan Sims was put in the box for hooking. Ryan Trottier provided the assist. Liam Herbst recorded 15 saves for the Nationals. London registered one goal on eight power play opportunities. For the Nationals, Kotsvos and Todosichuk were ejected from the contest. Lambton Shores' Justin Fazio stopped 25 shots out of the 29 that he faced.
