The game between the Sarnia Legionnaires and the St. Thomas Stars was tight through all 60 minutes, but in the end Sarnia emerged with a 4-2 win. No lead was more than two goals during the contest, and the winning goal was scored by Jordan Fogarty at 8:45 of the third period. The Legionnaires were sparked by Fogarty, who racked up one goal. Sarnia's offense rang up 32 shots on St. Thomas' net. Sarnia also got points from Nathan Mater, who also finished with one goal and one assist. Sarnia also had goals scored by Riley Babkirk and Thomas Moxley, who scored one goal each. In addition, Sarnia received assists from Davis Boyer, who had three and Ryan Vendramin, Jay Clarke, and Cody Trowell, who contributed one a piece. The Stars incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors.
