Wheaton leads Leamington to shutout victory over SarniaLeamington Kinsmen Recreation Sun, Dec 01, 2013 Story by Narrative Science.
Trevor Wheaton made 31 saves to complete the shutout and led the Leamington Flyers to a 3-0 win against the Sarnia Legionnaires. Leamington was paced by Blaine Bechard, who tallied one goal. Bechard scored 3:10 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Leamington. J.P. Grineau provided the assist. The Flyers' defensive play was more effective than usual against Sarnia.
