The Chatham Maroons tried their best to erase a six-goal deficit, but the St. Marys Lincolns would not be denied the victory and hung on to win, 6-5. St. Marys made the score 6-0 on a goal by New Player at zero seconds in the third period, and Chatham got as close as 6-5 when Adam Arseneault scored 14:16 into the third period. Player had a great game for the Lincolns, netting five goals. Player notched his first tally zero seconds into the third period.
