The Leamington Flyers had a three-goal lead after two periods and cruised the rest of the way en route to a 7-2 win over the Lambton Shores Predators.

Lambton Shores' power play was ineffective against Leamington's penalty kill, which allowed one goal while shorthanded.

In the losing effort, the Predators were led by Matthew Kenney, who tallied two goals. Kenney scored the first of his two goals on the power play at 11:37 into the first period to make the score 1-1.
