Niagara Falls downs Ancaster, 2-1

Tory McLean grabbed one point to lead the Niagara Falls Canucks to a 2-1 victory over the Ancaster Avalanche.

Niagara Falls also got a goal from Garrett Gallardi as well. More assists for Niagara Falls came via Johnny Curran, Nolan Dunn, and Dylan Savory, who contributed one a piece.

Ancaster's offense operated below it season average. The Avalanche average 3.5 goals per game.

Ancaster was led by Luke Zupan, who scored the team's only goal. Zupan scored 4:05 into the second period to make the score 1-0 Ancaster. Blake Luscombe provided the assist.

Niagara Falls' Dylan Pietrangelo stopped 24 shots out of the 25 that he faced. The Canucks incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. Braydon Banitsiotis made 16 saves for the Avalanche on 18 shots. Ancaster incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors.
