LaSalle beats St. Thomas 5-1 as Denomme gets hat trick

Dylan Denomme netted a hat trick to lead the LaSalle Vipers over the St. Thomas Stars, 5-1.

Denomme notched his first tally 4:45 into the first period. He then added goals at 16:05 into the second and at 12:43 into the third.

LaSalle put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow St. Thomas to score on any of its three power plays. The Stars were unable to stop the Vipers from sending pucks towards the net, and LaSalle eventually piled up 51 shots on goal.

LaSalle additionally got points from Devon Paliani, who also grabbed one goal and one assist. LaSalle also got a goal from Daniel Beaudoin as well. In addition, LaSalle received assists from Brett Langlois, Nikko Sablone, Mark Manchurek, Blake Jones, Brad Carroll, Aaron Luchuk, and Andrew Burns, who contributed one a piece.

Cameron Zanussi made 22 saves for the Vipers on 23 shots. LaSalle incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. Jackson McIntosh rejected 46 shots on goal for St. Thomas. The Stars incurred 22 minutes in penalty time with six minors. St. Thomas ran into serious disciplinary problems during the contest, and Alex Morgan was ejected from the game.
