Jonathan Sims registered one point to lead the London Nationals to a 10-2 victory over the Lambton Shores Predators. London excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in five chances. The Nationals kept Lambton Shores' goalie busy throughout the game, and Justin Tugwell made 35 saves on 45 shots. London found the back of the net more times than it usually has this season. The Nationals have scored at the pace of 4.2 goals per game during the current campaign. Team's forwards weren't the only contributers offensively, and the team's defensemen showcased their scoring touch with two goals. London additionally got points from Wade Russell, who also racked up two goals and one assist, Anthony Kotsvos, who also finished with two goals and one assist, Keaton Ratcliffe, who also tallied one goal and one assist, Jeff Bauer, who also grabbed one goal and one assist, and Drew Worrad, who also racked up one goal and one assist. Matt Wildman also scored for London. In addition, London received assists from Kyle L Robinson and Austin Kemp, who contributed one a piece, Matt Doty, Matt Fuller, and Tristen Elie, who each chipped in two, and Chris Maton and Ryan Tuffin, who contributed three a piece. The Predators forced London goalie Jacob Riley to work between the pipes, taking 35 shots. Kenney scored short handed 4:57 into the second period to make the score 2-2. A unsportsmanlike conduct call on Brendan Trottier put Lambton Shores on the penalty kill. Lambton Shores also got a goal from Cleo Gubbles as well. Other players who recorded assists for Lambton Shores were Austin Fetterly, who had one. Jacob Riley made 33 saves for the Nationals on 35 shots. London incurred 22 minutes in penalty time with six minors.
