The St. Catharines Falcons' Mitch Bursey had a big offensive game, scoring two goals and contributing two assists in his team's 5-3 win over the Niagara Falls Canucks. Bursey found the back of the net on the power play 7:50 into the first period to make the score 1-0 St. Catharines and again while 11:30 into the third to make the score 4-2 St. Catharines.St. Catharines' offense rang up 44 shots on Niagara Falls' net. The defensemen of the Falcons were also effective in the Canucks' zone, and came away with two goals. St. Catharines also got points from Yanni Rallis, who also registered one goal and one assist and Brennan Feasey, who also tallied one goal and two assists. St. Catharines also got a goal from Ryan Doucette as well. Niagara Falls racked up the penalties in the contest, and ended with eight minors and two majors for 56 minutes in penalty time. The Canucks had been averaging 38.0 minutes in penalties per game. Niagara Falls was helped by Cole Vinnai, who tallied one goal. Vinnai scored 19:03 into the third period to make the score 4-3 St. Catharines. Tory McLean provided the assist.
