The Leamington Flyers came close to giving away a four-goal lead to the Lambton Shores Predators, but did just enough to escape with a 3-2 victory. Leamington led by four goals at one point and ended with the victory. The largest advantage in the game came when the Flyers' Kyle Quick's scored at 10:15 in the second period to put Leamington up 4-0. The Flyers got the win behind a great game by Nathan Opblinger, who had one goal and two assists. Opblinger scored 16:22 into the first period to make the score 2-0 Leamington. Alex Seguin assisted on the tally. Leamington managed to stay out of the box better than usual, registering one minor for two minutes in penalty time.
