St. Catharines blows out Buffalo, 7-3

The St. Catharines Falcons were firing on all cylinders against the Buffalo Regals, and when the final buzzer sounded Falcons emerged with a 7-3 win.

Buffalo was unable to stop St. Catharines from sending pucks towards the net, and the Falcons eventually piled up 51 shots on goal. St. Catharines got an offensive boost from its blueliners, who contributed two goals during the game.

The Falcons were helped by Brennan Feasey, who racked up two goals. Feasey scored the first of his two goals at 5:54 into the first period to make the score 1-0 St. Catharines. Yanni Rallis picked up the assist. Feasey's next tally made the score 5-2 St. Catharines with 16:13 left in the third period. Mark Rodgers provided the assist. St. Catharines also got points from Dilan Walker, who also registered one goal and one assist. Broderick Kelly also scored for St. Catharines. Other players who recorded assists for St. Catharines were Kyle Woodhouse, Cam Blakely, and Tyler Hildebrant, who contributed one a piece and Jimmy Sheehan, Greg Jambrosich, and Kevin Guzzo, who each chipped in two.

The Regals' penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on four St. Catharines power plays.

Buffalo was helped by Nicholas Matos, who tallied one goal. Matos scored 8:55 into the third period to make the score 5-3 St. Catharines. Kennedy Monaco picked up the assist. Buffalo additionally got points from Stephen Schulz, who also had one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Buffalo also got a goal from Ryan Cox as well. More assists for Buffalo came via Ddomonic Gruttadauria AP, Christopher Moses, and Michael Faliero, who contributed one a piece.

Jonathon D Ilario made 16 saves for St. Catharines on 19 shots. The Falcons incurred 18 minutes in penalty time with four minors. Adam Dentico rejected 44 shots on goal for the Regals. Buffalo incurred 16 minutes in penalty time with three minors.
