The London Nationals had trouble finding ways to stop the St. Thomas Stars, which beat Nationals, 6-3. Luc Knight had two goals to lead St. Thomas to victory. Knight's tallies came at 19:19 into the first period to make the score 2-1 St. Thomas and on the power play 1:02 into the second to make the score 3-1 St. Thomas. The Stars' offense rang up 37 shots on London's net. St. Thomas found the back of the net more times than it usually has this season. The Stars have scored at the pace of 2.6 goals per game during the current campaign. St. Thomas also got a goal from Josh Slegers as well. In addition, St. Thomas received assists from Lucas Triemstra, Cam Garrow, and Ryan Hamelin, who contributed one a piece and Alex Morgan and Josh Coyle(APM), who each chipped in two. St. Thomas was unable to stop the Nationals from sending pucks towards the net, and London eventually piled up 34 shots on goal. The Nationals found themselves short handed often, totaling 34 penalty minutes and allowing eight power plays. London was helped by Jeff Bauer, who had one goal. Bauer scored on the power play 8:50 into the first period to make the score 1-0 London. The Nationals had gained a power play chance when Aiden Jamieson was whistled for too many men. Matt Fuller provided the assist. Ryan Tuffin also scored for London. More assists for London came via Matt Doty, Ryan Shipley, and Paul Hopkins, who contributed one a piece. Riley Brown recorded 31 saves for the Stars. St. Thomas incurred 20 minutes in penalty time with 10 minors. London's Jacob Riley stopped 31 shots out of the 36 that he faced. The Nationals registered two goals on seven power play opportunities.
