Greenfield leads Kitchener to shutout victory over Cambridge

Matt Greenfield was superb between the pipes for the Kitchener Dutchmen, as he did not allow a goal in a 4-0 victory over the Cambridge Winter Hawks.

John Divo had one goal and two assists to lead Kitchener. Divo scored 17:04 into the first period to make the score 2-0 Kitchener. Logan Schmidt provided the assist.

The Dutchmen forced Cambridge's goaltenders to work hard to keep the puck out of the net, launching 34 shots and forcing 30 saves. Jacob Keogh made 11 stops and Darren Huck made 19. Kitchener excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in three chances.

Kitchener also got points from Keegan Calder, who also racked up one goal and one assist. Kitchener also got a goal from Connor Cole(APM) as well. More assists for Kitchener came via Keli Grant and Ty Learn, who contributed one a piece.

The Winter Hawks did not reach the goal total they have come to expect this season. Cambridge averages 3.0 goals per game.

Matt Greenfield made 30 saves for the Dutchmen on 30 shots. Kitchener incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors. The Winter Hawks incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
