Colin Furlong recorded a shutout against the Welland Jr. Canadians as the Caledonia Corvairs picked up a 5-0 win. Kyler Nixon had one goal and two assists to lead Caledonia. Nixon scored 7:18 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Caledonia. Jake Brown assisted on the tally. The Corvairs stifled Welland's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Caledonia forced the Jr. Canadians goalie Liam Conway to work between the pipes, taking 40 shots. Caledonia also got points from Matt Quilty, who also finished with one goal and one assist. Caledonia also had goals scored by Spencer Gourlay, who had one and Cody Brown, who had two. More assists for Caledonia came via Connor Murphy, who had two and JC Thivienge, Brooker Muir, Cosimo Fontana, and Jeffrey Marlott, who contributed one a piece. Welland could not produce up to it normal offensive output. The Jr. Canadians put an average of 3.4 pucks into the net per game. Colin Furlong made 25 saves for the Corvairs on 25 shots. Caledonia incurred 18 minutes in penalty time with four minors. Conway rejected 35 shots on goal for Welland. The Jr. Canadians incurred 14 minutes in penalty time with seven minors.
