The Buffalo Regals tried their best to erase a four-goal deficit, but the Niagara Falls Canucks would not be denied the victory and hung on to win, 7-5. Niagara Falls made the score 7-3 on a goal by Garrett Gallardi at 9:54 in the third period, and Buffalo got as close as 7-5 when Travis Hicks scored 13:51 into the third period. With four goals and one assist between them, Dylan Savory and Johnny Curran teamed up to power the Canucks' offense. Savory registered two goals and Curran also added two goals and one assist. Niagara Falls found the back of the net more times than it usually has this season. The Canucks have scored at the pace of 4.5 goals per game during the current campaign. Niagara Falls was forced to rely heavily on their penalty kill unit throughout the game, as it racked up 33 penalty minutes. The Canucks' defensemen played an important role in the offense, chipping in two goals. The Regals ran into serious disciplinary problems during the contest, and Ddomonic Gruttadauria AP was ejected from the game.
