Huge game by Brown boosts Caledonia over St. Catharines, 6-3

Cody Brown was all over the ice for the Caledonia Corvairs, as he tallied two goals and three assists in Caledonia's 6-3 win over the St. Catharines Falcons.

Brown's tallies came on the power play at 9:28 into the second period to make the score 2-1 Caledonia and 19:00 into the third to make the score 5-3 Caledonia.

St. Catharines fell victim to a deadly the Corvairs power play, which ripped the Falcons for four goals.

St. Catharines was unable to stop Caledonia from sending pucks towards the net, and the Corvairs eventually piled up 36 shots on goal.

Caledonia also got points from Spencer Gourlay, who also grabbed one goal and one assist, Connor Murphy, who also had one goal and two assists, Cosimo Fontana, who also finished with one goal and one assist, and Jeffrey Marlott, who also grabbed one goal and one assist. More assists for Caledonia came via Kyler Nixon, who had one.

The Falcons' offense rang up 32 shots on Caledonia's net. St. Catharines could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 36 minutes in penalties during the game.

The Falcons were helped by Mark Rodgers, who registered one goal. Rodgers scored 5:08 into the second period to make the score 1-1. Jimmy Sheehan provided the assist. Greg Jambrosich also scored for St. Catharines. In addition, St. Catharines received assists from Yanni Rallis, Aaron Taylor, Ryan Doucette, and Brennan Feasey, who contributed one a piece.

Colin Furlong rejected 29 shots on goal for the Corvairs. Caledonia incurred 30 minutes in penalty time with five minors. St. Catharines' Knick Dawe stopped 30 shots out of the 35 that he faced. The Falcons registered one goal on six power play opportunities. For St. Catharines, Broderick Kelly was ejected from the game.
