Battisti, LaSalle blank Lambton Shores, 6-0

Paolo Battisti was superb between the pipes for the LaSalle Vipers, as he did not allow a goal in a 6-0 victory over the Lambton Shores Predators.

Daniel Beaudoin had two goals and one assist to lead LaSalle. Beaudoin scored the first of his two goals at 8:52 into the second period to make the score 2-0 LaSalle. Devon Paliani picked up the assist. Beaudoin's next tally made the score 4-0 LaSalle with 8:06 left in the second period. Andrew Burns provided the assist.

The Vipers stifled Lambton Shores' power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. LaSalle featured an improved defense during the game. The Vipers average 2.4 goals allowed per game. LaSalle's offense rang up 52 shots on the Predators' net.

LaSalle additionally got points from Austin Hall, who also racked up one goal and one assist, reil ansolin, who also had one goal and one assist, and Bryce Mayea, who also registered one goal and one assist. Blake Jones also scored for LaSalle. Other players who recorded assists for LaSalle were Brett Langlois, Nathan Savage, and Connor Rosaasen, who each chipped in one.

Lambton Shores did not reach the goal total it has come to expect this season. The Predators average 2.6 goals per game.

Battisti rejected 28 shots on goal for the Vipers. LaSalle incurred 32 minutes in penalty time with six minors. Lambton Shores' Justin Tugwell stopped 46 shots out of the 52 that he faced. The Predators incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. For Lambton Shores, Ty Jackson was ejected from the game.
