The Brantford 99ers could not stop the Listowel Cyclones' Jonathan Langford, who tallied a hat trick in an 8-1 win.

Langford's first goal came 1:40 into the second period. He then added goals at 45 seconds into the third and at 15:45 into the third.

Listowel led by only one goal at the end of the first period, but put the game away by scoring five goals in the second.

The Cyclones were led by goalie Daniel Dekoning, who finished with 36 saves while allowing one goal. Dekoning certainly lowered his goals against average, which was 1.97 entering the contest.
