Lambton Shores wins tough contest against Chatham, 5-4Chatham Memorial Arena Sun, Sep 22, 2013 Story by Narrative Science.
The game between the Lambton Shores Predators and the Chatham Maroons was tight through all 60 minutes, but in the end Lambton Shores emerged with a 5-4 win. No lead was more than one goal during the contest, and the winning goal was scored by Steven Beenackers at 8:07 of the third period. Beenackers had one goal and three assists to lead the Predators. Lambton Shores pulled out the victory even though it was hit with 46 penalty minutes. The Predators' offense rang up 31 shots on Chatham's net. Lambton Shores outdid its season average for goals scored. The Predators have scored at the pace of 2.8 goals per game during the current campaign. Lambton Shores additionally got points from Matt Ross, who also racked up one goal and one assist. Others who scored for Lambton Shores included Nick Sproveiro, who had one and John Warren, who had two. For the Maroons, Connor McKinnon was ejected from the game.
