The London Nationals relied on the scoring touch of Paul Hopkins, who netted two goals, to beat the St. Thomas Stars, 5-2.

Hopkins found the back of the net 7:45 into the second period to make the score 3-1 London and again while 38 seconds into the third to make the score 4-2 London.

London's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on three St. Thomas power plays. The Nationals kept St. Thomas' goalie busy throughout the game, and Jackson McIntosh made 32 saves on 37 shots.

London additionally got points from Austin Kemp, who also had one goal and two assists to lead the team in points. Ryan Wells also scored for London.
