The LaSalle Vipers took home the win against the St. Thomas Stars, 5-2. LaSalle kept St. Thomas' goalie busy throughout the game, and Jackson McIntosh made 34 saves on 39 shots. The Vipers were helped by Aaron Luchuk, who grabbed one goal. Luchuk scored 10:09 into the first period to make the score 2-0 LaSalle. Nikko Sablone provided the assist. LaSalle also got points from Mark Manchurek, who also tallied one goal and one assist and Devon Paliani, who also had one goal and one assist. LaSalle also got a goal from Brett Langlois as well. In addition, LaSalle received assists from Ben Hanus, who had two and Nicolas Crescenzi, Billy Eansor, Nathan Savage, and Zack Bedard, who contributed one a piece. The Stars could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 38 minutes in penalties during the game. St. Thomas was helped by Gus Ford, who registered one goal. Ford scored on the power play 6:32 into the second period to make the score 3-1 LaSalle. The Stars had taken the advantage when LaSalle's Daniel Beaudoin got sent off for roughing. Braden Hellems picked up the assist. Tyler Beaulieau also scored for St. Thomas. More assists for St. Thomas came via Lucas Triemstra and Alex Morgan, who each chipped in one. Taylor Speed made 25 saves for the Vipers on 27 shots. LaSalle incurred 18 minutes in penalty time with nine minors. St. Thomas registered two goals on eight power play opportunities.
