Garrett Clarke's game-winning tally was the game's only goal. It came at 13:21 in the third period. The Sundogs had gotten the advantage when St. Charles' Tony DeHart was sent off for high sticking. Jordan Clendenning picked up the assist.

Arizona was sparked by Clarke, who racked up one goal.
