Shawville Pontiacs tried to dig itself out of a three-goal hole, but Perth Blue Wings held on for a 5-3 victory.

Perth Blue Wings took a 5-2 lead during the third period, only to have Shawville Pontiacs storm back on a Christopher Bones goal 14:14 into the third period to pull to two goals down.

Blair Barr was all over the ice for Perth Blue Wings, as he had four goals in the win. Barr's first goal came 13:40 into the first period. He then added goals at 2:41 into the second and at 10:55 into the second.

Perth Blue Wings kept Shawville Pontiacs' goalie busy throughout the game, and Trevor McGee made 26 saves on 31 shots. Perth Blue Wings took advantage of Shawville Pontiacs' penalties, tallying two goals off of three power play opportunities.
