Renfrew Timberwolves rolls over Arnprior Packers, 5-2

Renfrew Timberwolves had a two-goal lead after two periods and cruised the rest of the way en route to a 5-2 win over Arnprior Packers.

Kurtis Leclaire had one goal and two assists to lead Renfrew Timberwolves. Leclaire scored on the power play 15:53 into the first period to make the score 2-0 Renfrew Timberwolves. An interference penalty on Damian Armstrong had put Renfrew Timberwolves on the power play. Troy Taylor assisted on the tally.

Renfrew Timberwolves' penalty kill excelled, as Renfrew Timberwolves gave up one goal despite allowing 12 power plays.

Renfrew Timberwolves forced Arnprior Packers goalie Erik Miksik to work between the pipes, taking 38 shots. Renfrew Timberwolves could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 28 minutes in penalties during the game.
