Metcalfe Jets tried its best to erase a four-goal deficit, but Shawville Pontiacs would not be denied the victory and hung on to win, 4-2.

Shawville Pontiacs made the score 4-0 on a goal by Gilmour Maurice at 9:34 in the third period, and Metcalfe Jets got as close as 4-2 when Nathan Avery scored 15:18 into the third period.

Shawville Pontiacs was helped by Dylan McNamara, who finished with one goal and one assist. McNamara scored 11:51 into the second period to make the score 3-0 Shawville Pontiacs. Lucas Driscoll-McKinnon picked up the assist. Shawville Pontiacs also got points from Christopher Bones, who also finished with one goal and one assist. Julian Dumont also scored for Shawville Pontiacs. More assists for Shawville Pontiacs came via Gabriel Nigig Tolley, who had two and Mackenzie Vezina and Dylan Scott, who contributed one a piece.

Metcalfe Jets also got a goal from Jordan Malette as well. In addition, Metcalfe Jets received assists from Ryan Pike and Simon Martel, who each chipped in one.

Trevor McGee recorded 27 saves for Shawville Pontiacs. Shawville Pontiacs incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. Dylan BrindAmour made 14 saves for Metcalfe Jets on 18 shots. Metcalfe Jets incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
