Arnprior Packers downs Stittsville Royals in overtime, 3-2 (OT)

Arnprior Packers pulled out a 3-2 (OT) overtime victory over Stittsville Royals on a clutch goal by Damian Armstrong.

Ty Fleming had a great game for Arnprior Packers, netting two goals. Fleming's tallies came at 2:20 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Arnprior Packers and 7:02 into the first to make the score 2-0 Arnprior Packers.

Arnprior Packers' penalty kill excelled, as Arnprior Packers gave up zero goals despite allowing seven power plays.

Arnprior Packers racked up the penalties in the contest, and ended with 11 minors and one major for 27 minutes in penalty time. Arnprior Packers had been averaging 20.0 minutes in penalties per game. Arnprior Packers made Stittsville Royals' netminders to work all game long, launching 46 shots and forcing 43 saves. Patrick Kealey made 41 stops and Quinten Abrams made two.
