Ottawa Canadians tried to dig itself out of a two-goal hole, but Ottawa West Golden Knights held on for a 3-2 victory.

A goal by Phil Edgar put Ottawa West Golden Knights up 3-1 in the second period, but Ottawa Canadians pulled to within one on Jamie Molinski's tally 17:15 into the third period.

Ottawa West Golden Knights was sparked by Edgar, who racked up one goal. Edgar scored 13:29 into the second period to make the score Ottawa West Golden Knights. Jeff Gottzman assisted on the tally.
