Plaschy leads Almonte Thunder to shutout victory over Stittsville Royals

Dominic Plaschy recorded a shutout against Stittsville Royals as Almonte Thunder picked up a 6-0 win.

Andrew Rowbotham had a great game for Almonte Thunder, netting two goals. Rowbotham's tallies came at 3:21 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Almonte Thunder and 15:16 into the second to make the score 4-0 Almonte Thunder.

Almonte Thunder made Stittsville Royals' goaltenders to work in net, ripping 47 shots and forcing 41 saves. Jason Shaw made 10 stops and Zach Mills made 31. Almonte Thunder's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on three Stittsville Royals power plays.

Almonte Thunder also got points from Liam Killeen, who also finished with one goal and one assist and Justin Marquis, who also grabbed one goal and one assist. Almonte Thunder also got a goal from Brandon Mendham as well.
