Stittsville Royals tried to dig itself out of a four-goal hole, but :Winchester held on for a 5-3 victory.

A goal by Mitchell Kirkwood put :Winchester up 5-1 in the second period, but Stittsville Royals pulled to within two on Mitch Kerwin's tally 14:40 into the third period.

:Winchester excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in four chances.

:Winchester was led by Wyatt Coghill, who racked up one goal and one assist. Coghill scored 9:37 into the second period to make the score 4-0 :Winchester. Kyle Richardson provided the assist. :Winchester also got points from Alex St.Marsaille, who also had one goal and one assist, Kirkwood, who also registered one goal and one assist, and Christopher Rossi, who also grabbed one goal and one assist. :Winchester also got a goal from Brandon Pantaleo as well. Other players who recorded assists for :Winchester were Josh Stubbings, Austin Rothe, Shawn Simms, and Andrew Garron, who contributed one a piece.

Stittsville Royals' penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on five :Winchester power plays. Stittsville Royals' offense rang up 44 shots on :Winchester's net.

Jermy Nichols also scored for Stittsville Royals. In addition, Stittsville Royals received assists from Joey Laird and Talmadge Farnes, who each chipped in two.
