Arnprior Packers beats Metcalfe Jets 5-3 as Armstrong gets hat trick

Damian Armstrong netted a hat trick to lead Arnprior Packers over Metcalfe Jets, 5-3.

Armstrong's first goal came 17:34 into the second period. He then added goals at 11:30 into the third and at 19:54 into the third.

Arnprior Packers additionally got points from Marc Shanks, who also grabbed one goal and one assist. Dallas Farr also scored for Arnprior Packers. In addition, Arnprior Packers received assists from John McLean, Corey Chaplin, and Christopher Marchand, who contributed one a piece and Brian Taylor and Brayden Harvey, who each chipped in two.

Metcalfe Jets forced Arnprior Packers goalie Erik Miksik to work between the pipes, taking 31 shots.
