Gatineau Mustangs had a two-goal lead after two periods and cruised the rest of the way en route to a 6-1 win over Arnprior Packers.

Gatineau Mustangs was led by goalie Jean-Philippe Giroux, who finished with 28 saves while allowing one goal. Giroux certainly lowered his goals against average, which was 4.18 entering the contest.

Arnprior Packers put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Gatineau Mustangs to score on any of its three power plays.
