Cale Phibbs netted a hat trick to lead the Wheatley Sharks over the Amherstburg Admirals, 7-1. Phibbs' first goal came 5:03 into the first period. He then added goals at 5:46 into the first and at 6:18 into the third.Wheatley's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on five Amherstburg power plays. The Sharks bested their season scoring average. Wheatley averages 4.3 goals per game. Wheatley additionally got points from Brett Bowman, who also registered one goal and one assist and Jon Woelk, who also tallied one goal and three assists. Wheatley also had goals scored by Ryan Zsebok and Eric Rivard, who scored one goal each. Other players who recorded assists for Wheatley were Scott Florence, who had four and Mike Reid, Riley Enns APM, Lucas Raffoul, Brendon Anger, and Thomas Virban, who contributed one a piece.
