James DAndrea made 29 saves to complete the shutout and led the Amherstview Jets to an 8-0 win against the Deseronto Storm. Amherstview put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Deseronto to score on any of its five power plays. The Jets' offense rang up 43 shots on the Storm's net. Amherstview outdid its season average for goals scored. The Jets average 4.0 goals per game. The defensemen of Amherstview were also effective in Deseronto's zone, and came away with two goals. The Jets were led by Cody Stapley, who tallied one goal and two assists. Stapley scored 7:42 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Amherstview. Jordan Howe assisted on the tally. Amherstview also got points from Howe, who also had one goal and one assist, Cassidy Bruni, who also finished with one goal and one assist, and Josh Leblanc, who also grabbed one goal and one assist. Others who scored for Amherstview included Brett Yake and Andrew Fullerton, who each put in two.
