Ryan Sizer was all over the ice for the Picton Pirates, as he tallied two goals and two assists in Picton's 7-0 win over the Port Hope Panthers. Sizer scored at 12:51 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Picton and again while 3:20 into the second to make the score 3-0 Picton.The Pirates stifled Port Hope's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Picton forced the Panthers goalie Branson Schell to work between the pipes, taking 36 shots. Picton additionally got points from Evan Greer, who also registered one goal and three assists. Others who scored for Picton included Nolan Powers, Brandon Peever, Taylor Brown, and Griffin McCarty, who each put in one. In addition, Picton received assists from Kenny Murduff, who had two, Steven Clarke, who had three, and Brian Bunnett, who had four. The Port Hope penalty box was a popular destination as the team totaled 11 minors and one major for 37 minutes in penalty time. The Panthers had been averaging 20.0 minutes in penalties per game.
