Jared Boomhower gave the Deseronto Storm a 7-6 (OT) victory over the Campbellford Rebels when he scored 4:40 into the extra period. Deseronto overcame a three-goal deficit to capture the victory. The Storm fell behind 6-3 after a goal by Campbellford's jeremy dorghty at 9:34 in the third period. Deseronto tied things up at 6-6 on a goal by Brandon Turner at 16:35 in the third period. nick ferguson was all over the ice for the Storm, as he tallied two goals and three assists in the win. Ferguson scored the first of his two goals at 3:15 into the second period to make the score 3-1 Campbellford. Boomhower assisted on the tally. ferguson's next tally made the score 3-2 Campbellford with 16:04 left in the second period. Boomhower picked up the assist. Referees had their hands full with a major incident at 14:03 into the second period. Four fighting penalties were dished out along with two game misconducts. Deseronto bested its season scoring average. This season, the Storm average 2.1 goals per contest. Deseronto additionally got points from Boomhower, who also racked up two goals and two assists. Campbellford ran into serious disciplinary problems during the contest, and Jon Samis was ejected from the game.
