Huge game by Casselman boosts Napanee over Campbellford, 6-3Strathcona Paper Tue, Jan 21, 2014 Story by Narrative Science.
The Napanee Raiders' Ryan Casselman had a big offensive game, scoring two goals and contributing one assist in his team's 6-3 win over the Campbellford Rebels. Casselman found the back of the net 14:06 into the second period to make the score 4-2 Napanee and again while 19:07 into the third to make the score 6-3 Napanee.Napanee's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on three Campbellford power plays. Campbellford was unable to stop the Raiders from sending pucks towards the net, and Napanee eventually piled up 44 shots on goal. Napanee additionally got points from Murray Keenan, who also tallied one goal and one assist and Zach Knapp-Hermer, who also racked up one goal and one assist. Bud Norris also scored for Napanee. In addition, Napanee received assists from Alex Leclerc, who had two and Troy Wylie, Tyler Romain, Jordan Cannons, Jake Falcao, and Kyle Copeland, who contributed one a piece. More assists for Campbellford came via jeremy dorghty, who had one. Copeland recorded 37 saves for the Raiders. Napanee incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. Campbellford's Kevin Valdas stopped 38 shots out of the 43 that he faced. The Rebels incurred 16 minutes in penalty time with three minors.
