Ryan Crowley netted a hat trick to lead the Campbellford Rebels over the Deseronto Storm, 9-1. Crowley got on the scoresheet 2:06 into the first period. He then added goals at 3:33 into the second and at 15:14 into the second.Campbellford forced Storm's goalies to work hard to keep the puck out of the net, totaling 52 shots and forcing 43 saves. Brock Tufts made 19 stops and Matt Lovelys made 24. The Rebels stifled Deseronto's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Campbellford's goal total was higher than its season average. This season, the Rebels average 4.0 goals per contest. Campbellford also got points from Nick Ferguson, who also grabbed one goal and two assists and Jordan Boutilier, who also finished with one goal and three assists to lead the team in points. Others who scored for Campbellford included William Lameroux, who had two and Griffin Rupnow and jeremy dorghty, who each put in one. In addition, Campbellford received assists from Brad Jacklin, Joshua Leavey, Jon Samis, Matt Scott, TJ Paterson (APM), and Andrew Doxtator, who each chipped in one. The Storm were led by Devim MacLean, who scored the team's only goal. MacLean scored 11:49 into the first period to make the score 2-1 Campbellford. Brandon Turner picked up the assist. Kevin Valdas recorded 19 saves for Campbellford. The Rebels incurred 20 minutes in penalty time with five minors. Deseronto incurred 20 minutes in penalty time with five minors. The Storm ran into serious disciplinary problems during the contest, and Brett Maracle was ejected from the game.
