Huge game by Boulard boosts Napanee over Amherstview, 4-2Strathcona Paper Tue, Dec 17, 2013 Story by Narrative Science.
The Napanee Raiders' Austin Boulard had a big offensive game, scoring two goals and contributing two assists in his team's 4-2 win over the Amherstview Jets. Boulard found the back of the net 16:32 into the second period to make the score 3-2 Napanee and again while short handed 17:40 into the second to make the score 4-2 Napanee.Amherstview's power play was ineffective against Napanee's penalty kill, which allowed one goal while shorthanded. The Raiders racked up the penalties in the contest, and ended with seven minors and two majors for 24 minutes in penalty time. Napanee surpassed its season average of 19.0 penalty minutes per game. The Raiders forced the Jets goalie Trpy Paquette to work between the pipes, taking 34 shots. Napanee additionally got points from Tyler Romain, who also registered two goals and one assist. Other players who recorded assists for Napanee were Keenan Murray, who had two and Troy Wylie, Zach Knapp-Hermer, and Ryan Casselman, who contributed one a piece.
