Austin Boulard was all over the ice for the Napanee Raiders, as he tallied two goals and two assists in Napanee's 10-0 win over the Deseronto Storm. Boulard's tallies came short handed at 5:47 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Napanee and 7:23 into the second to make the score 6-0 Napanee.Kyle Copeland spearheaded the defensive effort for the Raiders, as he did not allow a puck past him and made 39 saves for the shutout. Copeland managed to improve on his goals against average, which stood at 4.17 prior to the game. Referees had their hands full with a major incident at 12:04 into the third period. Four fighting penalties were dished out along with two game misconducts. Napanee's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on four Deseronto power plays. The Raiders kept Deseronto's goalie busy throughout the game, and Matt Lovelys made 38 saves on 48 shots. Napanee surpassed its usual scoring output this season. The Raiders have scored at the pace of 4.2 goals per game during the current campaign. Napanee also got points from Bud Norris, who also had two goals and two assists, Ryan Casselman, who also grabbed one goal and one assist, and Tyler Romain, who also finished with two goals and one assist. Napanee also got a goal from Mitch Pearce as well. In addition, Napanee received assists from Blade Grigg, Zach Knapp-Hermer, Mason Conley, and Will Peirson, who each chipped in one and Kyle Murphy and Pascal DiRocco, who contributed two a piece. Napanee was unable to stop the Storm from sending pucks towards the net, and Deseronto eventually piled up 39 shots on goal. The Raiders totaled 33 minutes in penalty time with four minors and one major and went 1-for-4 on the power play. For Napanee, Jake Falcao was ejected from the game. The Storm ended with 25 minutes in penalty time with five minors and one major. Deseronto ran into serious disciplinary problems during the contest, and nick ferguson was ejected from the game.
