The Campbellford Rebels' Cole Hamilton scored 1:15 into overtime to beat the Picton Pirates, 2-1 (OT). Campbellford's Cole Mahoney was a brick wall in net, as he came up with 41 saves and let only one puck past him. Mahoney certainly lowered his goals against average, which was 3.05 entering the contest. The Rebels were paced by Hamilton, who registered one goal. Campbellford managed to stay out of the box better than usual, racking up one minor for two minutes in penalty time. The Rebels ended up below its season average of 18.0 penalty minutes per game. Campbellford was held below its usual level of production. The Rebels put an average of 4.3 pucks into the net per game. Picton was unable to stop Campbellford from sending pucks towards the net, and the Rebels eventually piled up 31 shots on goal. Campbellford also got points from Andy Paul, who also racked up one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. In addition, Campbellford received assists from Ryan Crowley and Derek Shields, who contributed one a piece. The Pirates could not produce up to they normal offensive output.
