Evan Greer netted a hat trick to lead the Picton Pirates over the Deseronto Storm, 9-1. Greer got on the scoresheet 1:47 into the first period. He then added goals at 9:27 into the second and at 19:21 into the third.Picton forced Storm's goalies to work in net, finishing with 74 shots and forcing 65 saves. Brock Tufts made 23 stops and Shaun Hadley made 42. The Pirates excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in three chances. Picton surpassed its usual scoring output this season. The Pirates average 5.7 goals per game. Picton additionally got points from Jack Davison, who also racked up one goal and one assist, Brian Bunnett, who also had one goal and two assists, Ryan Sizer, who also tallied one goal and two assists, and Chris Jones, who also registered two goals and one assist. Devin McCann also scored for Picton.
