Evan Greer netted a hat trick to lead the Picton Pirates over the Deseronto Storm, 9-1.

Picton forced Storm's goalies to work in net, finishing with 74 shots and forcing 65 saves. Brock Tufts made 23 stops and Shaun Hadley made 42. The Pirates excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in three chances. Picton surpassed its usual scoring output this season. The Pirates average 5.7 goals per game.

Picton additionally got points from Jack Davison, who also racked up one goal and one assist, Brian Bunnett, who also had one goal and two assists, Ryan Sizer, who also tallied one goal and two assists, and Chris Jones, who also registered two goals and one assist. Devin McCann also scored for Picton. More assists for Picton came via Nolan Powers, Nolan Van Vlack, Miles Levtov, Connor Gunter APM, Brad Jacklin, Kenny Murduff, Cody Harrison, and Corey Prince, who contributed one a piece.

Deseronto managed to stay out of the box better than usual, tallying one minor for two minutes in penalty time. The Storm ended up below its season average of 21.0 penalty minutes per game.
