Three periods of regulation and an overtime session were not enough to settle matters as the Amherstview Jets defeated the Napanee Raiders in a shootout 6-5 (2-1 SO).

The Jets came back from a three-goal deficit to capture the victory. Amherstview trailed 4-1 after a goal by the Raiders' Troy Wylie at 8:00 in the second period. The Jets knotted things up at 5-5 on a goal by Isaac Desousa APM at 11:06 in the third period.

Zach Masterson had two goals to lead Amherstview to victory. Masterson scored at 12:36 into the first period to make the score 1-1 and again while 13:20 into the second to make the score 4-2 Napanee.

The Jets kept Napanee's goalie busy throughout the game, and Josh Lasher made 36 saves on 42 shots.

Amherstview also got points from Dustin Kennedy, who also grabbed one goal and one assist and Josh Leblanc, who also finished with one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. In addition, Amherstview received assists from Jesse Stone and Bruni, who each chipped in one.

The Raiders forced Amherstview goalie Trpy Paquette to work between the pipes, taking 33 shots. Napanee was forced to rely heavily on their penalty kill unit throughout the game, as it racked up 28 penalty minutes.

The Raiders were led by Zach Knapp-Hermer, who had one goal and two assists. Knapp-Hermer scored 3:00 into the third period to make the score 5-4 Napanee. Mason Conley provided the assist. Napanee additionally got points from Conley, who also registered one goal and one assist. Napanee also got a goal from Austin Boulard as well. Other players who recorded assists for Napanee were Blade Grigg, Romain, and Jake Falcao, who contributed one a piece.

Trpy Paquette made 28 saves for the Jets on 33 shots. Amherstview incurred 14 minutes in penalty time with seven minors. Napanee registered one goal on three power play opportunities. The Raiders ran into serious disciplinary problems during the contest, and Romain was ejected from the game.
