The Uxbridge Bruins relied on the sparkling performance of Cody Northover in net to grab a 2-1 win against the Clarington Eagles.

Uxbridge was led by Carter Vahey, who registered one goal. Vahey scored 8:55 into the third period to make the score 2-1 Uxbridge. Connor Miller picked up the assist.

The Bruins forced Clarington goalie CJ Sharp to work between the pipes, taking 33 shots.

Uxbridge also got a goal from Marco Mastrangelo as well. In addition, Uxbridge received assists from Dylan Locke and Korey Brand, who each chipped in one.

The Eagles could not produce up to they normal offensive output. Clarington puts an average of 3.9 pucks into the net per game.

The Eagles were led by Mitchell Burghardt APM, who scored the team's only goal. Burghardt APM scored short handed 2:21 into the third period to make the score 1-1. Jake Carier APM assisted on the tally.

Northover rejected 25 shots on goal for Uxbridge. The Bruins incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. Sharp recorded 31 saves for Clarington. The Eagles totaled 13 minutes in penalty time with four minors and one major and went 0-for-2 on the power play. Clarington ran into serious disciplinary problems during the contest, and Blane Gaudon was ejected from the game.
