Eric Oosting had one point to lead the Lakefield Chiefs to a 6-3 victory over the Uxbridge Bruins.

In a losing effort, Uxbridge was paced by Marco Mastrangelo, who registered two goals. Mastrangelo scored the first of his two goals at 2:15 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Uxbridge. Justin Dube provided the assist. Mastrangelo's next tally made the score 2-0 Uxbridge with 19:22 left in the second period. Tim Bierema picked up the assist.

Lakefield could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 28 minutes in penalties during the game.

Lakefield also got points from Eric Shewell, who also racked up one goal and two assists to lead the team in points and Travis Brault, who also tallied one goal and one assist. Lakefield also got a goal from Jordan Walsh as well. More assists for Lakefield came via Derek Manley, who had one and Connor Blair and Nathan Larson, who contributed two a piece.

The Bruins had trouble converting on the power play advantage, managing just two goals on nine chances.

Uxbridge additionally got points from Connor Miller, who also grabbed one goal and one assist. Other players who recorded assists for Uxbridge were Carter Vahey, who had one.

The Chiefs registered two goals on seven power play opportunities. Uxbridge incurred 32 minutes in penalty time with six minors.
